This year, “restock” influencers are already flooding social media with videos of candy hauls, plastic bins filled to the brim with Halloween snacks, and endless displays of themed junk that no one really needs. And the worst part? They’re making YOU feel like if you don’t join in, you’re somehow missing out. What looks like harmless organization videos are actually fueling consumerism — convincing people to blow hundreds of dollars on Halloween items weeks before the holiday even starts. The fake urgency, the endless plastic containers, the “you need this before it’s gone” mindset… it’s all part of a cycle that benefits the influencers, the stores and their affiliate links... leaving viewers with clutter and regret.
