I can't believe how many people have no idea what investing is or how to invest. We all start somewhere, but its sad that no one really teaches you about it. As a society at least in America, we are so focused on how to save money. Save, save, save. Put it in a bank or store it in your mattress. We never learn to Invest, invest, invest and it shows. No one is taught about roth IRA's or what an index fund is. Most parents don't even know what that is, so how can we expect them to teach their kids. Most people have to do it all on their own with no guidance or prior knowledge and its a shame it has to be that way! The system wants us to be broke and poor! Because thats how they make money!
