I hit up retail shopping centers, Harbor Freight, and even apartment complexes (which turned out to be the jackpot), all to see what kind of usable or even valuable stuff people are throwing away. Dumpster diving might sound a little crazy, but it’s a growing trend among thrifters, resellers, minimalists, and everyday people who are just tired of seeing so much waste. You’d be shocked at the condition of some of the things I pulled—working electronics, furniture, unopened goods, and more. In this video, I’ll also explain what dumpster diving is, the legality behind it, why some stores go as far as destroying merchandise before throwing it out, and how people are flipping free finds into real cash.
