Everywhere you look in 2026, there’s a new influencer promising freedom, money, and a better life — usually behind a high-ticket course, mentorship, or “proven system.” In this video, I break down a fast-growing trend in the influencer economy where lifestyle marketing, online coaching, and digital courses start to blur into something that feels… off. From supercars and luxury flexes to setters, closers, and commission-based funnels, we’re taking a step back to examine how this model actually works. This isn’t about calling anyone out. It’s about understanding incentives, recognizing patterns, and learning how to think critically before spending thousands on a promise... About This Video

In this video, I break down what I think might be the biggest influencer scam of 2026: the “wealth coach” ecosystem where the lifestyle is the advertisement and the course is the real product. You see a 23-year-old “buying” a $3M Koenigsegg, a 19-year-old with a multi-million dollar car collection, and it triggers instant jealousy and FOMO—because that’s the point. The flex converts. And when the flex stops, the money stops, so the spending has to keep escalating as attention gets more expensive. Then I zoom out and explain how a lot of this is actually afforded: open-ended luxury leases and dealer arrangements where the influencer isn’t necessarily sitting on generational wealth—they’re sitting on massive monthly cash flow pressure. From there, the loop gets uglier: the “skill” (trading, SMMA, fitness coaching, whatever the buzzword is this year) becomes a wrapper for selling high-ticket education. A lot of these gurus don’t make their money doing the skill anymore—they make it selling access to the idea of the skill. Finally, I connect the dots on the sales machine behind it: setters, closers, commission splits, affiliate links, and a structure that starts to look and feel like an MLM pyramid. Some people can win, sure—but most people lose, blame themselves, and burn an emergency fund chasing a lifestyle that was never the business in the first place.
