It truly fascinates me how once we get close to the holidays (Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas, etc.) People throw budgeting to the wind and go crazy. All of a sudden everyone has this sudden urge and need to spend all their hard earned money and over consume. People are still in debt from last Christmas and they have no problem going into more... because the holidays justify it. Consumerism has gotten so out of hand in our society that if you decide you would rather budget and save your money this holiday season, you will get made fun of and seen as the outcast. As if its become obligation to spend money. Society will judge you on how much you spent. Don't be cheap! You shouldn't save and reach your financial goals! Stay in debt! What a world we live in....
