mannn in this skit i put buckwheat through the MOST. like… he’s down BAD: no job, no girlfriend, failing classes, and his only friend moved to BORING oregon (still can’t believe that’s a real name). so when he sees an ad for “beanie’s got talent,” he’s like ok this is my time to prove i’m not a loser. and yes… he basically makes up an act on the spot, which is never a good sign. we’ve got aussie osworth hosting with the judges (mandy michael, carlo quality, and cole sl), and buckwheat tries to do OPERA because of some extremely specific “great great great…” family legacy. it goes exactly how you think it would go and a judge literally faints. then the show spirals in the best way: christy bacon does chaotic “martial arts” against herself, a totally-real “taylor swift” shows up and gets dragged off stage mid–shake it off, and oscar the poet delivers the most brain-rot, skibbidy, ohio, discord-kitten poetry ever. by the end, buckwheat ends up judging and somehow walks away like “wait… i AM talented,” which is honestly the only win he’s getting today.
