About This Video

In this video I’m reacting to the FL Studio 2024 update (yeah, they’re naming it by year now—so if it’s 2026 and you’re still on 2024, it’s time to update). I break down what Image-Line actually added and what’s really worth caring about as a producer. The big highlights for me are the new chord progression tool (super clutch for people who struggle with melodies), the note repeat feature for quick rolls/stutters in the Piano Roll and Step Sequencer, and the workflow changes like cloning unique clips with Shift + V drag—stuff that actually speeds you up. I also talk about FL Cloud plugins and why I’m personally not rushing to use it (I already got a lot of VSTs), but I can’t lie—it might be worth it for a lot of y’all because they’re bundling a crazy amount into one subscription and even letting you keep enough uses to open old projects. Then we get into the new tools like Spreader (stereo enhancement with low bypass so your bass stays centered), Low Lifter (helps bass translate on small speakers), and Edison AI updates like Declipper v2 plus the vocal denoise/isolation tool—which is honestly a game changer for pulling vocals out of messy recordings. I end it letting y’all know I’m gonna dive deeper and make tutorials on these features.
