In this video, I build a complete full stack e-commerce website using Next.js and Tailwind CSS, and then I add the real backend features step-by-step. I start by showing you the full demo: homepage with slider, popular/featured products, product details with gallery switching, cart and checkout flow with address saving, and a “My Orders” page. On top of that, I also include a seller/admin dashboard where an admin can upload products, view product list, and check all orders placed on the website. For authentication, I use Clerk because it gives me seamless login/signup and ready-to-use UI like the sign-in popup and user button menu. I also integrate Inngest to manage background jobs and handle Clerk webhooks in a clean way, which is important if you want a scalable and high-performance app. On the database side, I configure MongoDB (Atlas) and create models like the user schema, and I connect environment variables properly. Finally, once everything is working, I deploy the project on Vercel so anyone can access the app online.
