In this video I’m sharing a product I’m genuinely excited about because I’ve tried it and it works really good—the Healing Bark Golden Tree Bark Mask (and the little kit that comes with it). I walk you through what Healing Bark is, where it comes from (the Tanaka tree bark from Southeast Asia), and why I’m happy to add it into my routine. The mask is a powder, so you mix it with water to make a paste, and I show you exactly how I do it. I also talk about what’s inside: it naturally contains arbutin (which can help lighten dark spots and hyperpigmentation), plus antioxidants like coumarin (if I’m saying that right) and marmasin to help reduce signs of aging. I mix 2 teaspoons of powder with 3 teaspoons of water, apply it, let it dry for 15 minutes, then rinse. After rinsing, my face feels super clean, my pores feel tightened, and it just feels… a little bit younger. I’m planning to use it 1–2 times a week and I’ll keep you updated—especially because I also want to test it on my boyfriend’s dark spots and even my stretch marks.
