About This Video

In this video I’m testing Roshun Hair Products because… y’all, when I saw them in the store I really thought it was Aunt Jackie’s at first. The packaging, the names (like “Curls & Coils”), even the vibe of the labels looked way too similar, so I had to pick them up and see if it’s giving “dupe” or just straight confusion. I grabbed the Grapeseed “2-in-1” shampoo/conditioner and the Coconut Milk leave-in, then I searched them online and found even more products that looked like copy-and-paste versions. I go through the labels and ingredients, and that’s where it got messy. The shampoo says “sulfate free” on the front, but sodium lauryl sulfate is literally the second ingredient—so I was like… what are we doing? The leave-in also had claims that didn’t match what I saw in the ingredient list (like mentioning shea butter/ginseng, but not listing them), and it even talked like a cleanser even though it’s labeled leave-in. Still, I washed twice, and I’ll give credit: my scalp looked very clean. For styling, I primed with my Main Trix volume booster, added the leave-in, and used a brush for definition—and my curls actually came out pretty cute with a soft hold and only a tiny bit of frizz.
