In this video I’m reviewing the Novex My Curls Movie Star line, and I’m sharing my honest thoughts after actually using it on my hair. I picked up the shampoo, the deep hair mask, and the leave-in conditioner (people also use it as a styler). The brand has English and Spanish on the packaging, and what really caught my eye was that the whole line is sulfate, paraben, and silicone free—plus it’s packed with oils like argan, coconut, flaxseed, sunflower, avocado, and olive oil. I walk you through how each product feels, smells, and performs. The shampoo is thick, smells amazing, and even though the lather isn’t the best (because it’s sulfate free), it still cleansed and felt moisturizing—I washed twice and didn’t need a ton. The mask has great slip (especially when your hair is really wet) and I left it on for about 10–15 minutes. Then I applied the leave-in, which is super thick in the jar but doesn’t feel too heavy once it’s on the hair. I show my curl definition before and after air drying, plus I talk about how long these 1 kilo sizes can realistically last if you wash weekly.
