In this video I’m testing the NEW DevaCurl Mist Of Wonders Leave-In (their 12-in-1 multi-benefit curl spray) right after wash day. My hair was still a little damp, and I dried it with my Deva towel before getting into the unboxing. I’m giving the packaging a 10/10 because the presentation is super cute, but I will say I was a little disappointed because I thought the box included a refill and it was really just a card. I go over the claims—moisturizes, softens, detangles, strengthens, reduces breakage, heat protectant, humidity resistance, UV filter, non-crunchy, not flaky—and I show you the texture (it’s very runny, which makes sense for a mist). The bottle is 10 oz and I saw pricing that looked like $40, with refill pricing shown on the card too, so I talk about whether I’d even repurchase at that price. I applied it mostly by spraying into my hands because when I tried spraying from a distance, it landed on my body and even made my floor sticky. For the actual styling, I mixed it with my Novex leave-in/cream because I had to be ready for work and I didn’t feel like this would give me enough hold by itself. It has a good smell like other DevaCurl products, and the slip is decent (I’d rate it about a 7/10). I let my hair dry and planned to come back with final results, and I also want to test it as a true one-product wash and go later.
