In this video I’m walking you through how to machine embroider the super cute Egg Bunny from the Bunny Buddies Contour Collection and turn it into a potholder, placemat, mug rug, or even a table topper—depending on which of the five hoop sizes you choose. This is an in-the-hoop project, and even though that 3D contour look feels fancy, I promise it’s simple and fun when you follow the steps with me. I show you how I approach the applique (including my Heat n Bond tips), how and when to trim for clean edges, and how I add soft batting so it has that quilted, cozy feel. Then we finish it off with one of my favorite “makes it look professional” details: a cotton cord edge. Whether you’re on a single-needle or multi-needle machine, the goal is the same—take it step by step and you’ll end up with a dimensional bunny that’s perfect for Easter décor, spring table settings, and budget-friendly handmade gifts.
