Hi Gifted Crafters—today I’m back in my craft room to finish up the Garden Charm Tabletop Banner quilt top designed by Lori Holt. This is a cheerful little spring project (about 12" x 14") and in this live sewing session I’m stitching the last few pieces so we can get to that final reveal together. I had just a bit left to sew, and the last flower pot block is the part that really brings the whole quilt garden to life. Yesterday I finished the leafy green stems that sit beneath the flowers, and let me tell you—those leaves are made from several small fabric pieces, so it took patience and careful sewing. That’s honestly part of what makes quilting so rewarding: you take your time, sew accurately, and suddenly all those tiny bits turn into something adorable. I’m using my trusty Janome straight stitch machine (Ms. Molly!) to bring it all together one stitch at a time.
