I already stitched the 3D contour embroidery on my Brother SE1900 in the 5x7 hoop, and in this video I show you the finishing step: adding cotton rope around the edge with a simple zigzag stitch. This is the part that gives you that beautiful, sturdy round shape—perfect for a placemat or potholder—without needing any fancy attachments. I move over to my Brother HC1850 sewing machine and walk you through how I feed the rope, how I place my zigzag so it catches both sides of the rope, and how I keep everything smooth as the circle grows.
