About This Video

What’s up everyone—this video is a run-through of 15 drum accessories I genuinely use all the time in my own setup. I’m not talking about random gimmicks here; these are the tools that actually speed up my workflow, save space, and help me get a consistent sound. Some are super affordable, some are more premium, but every single one has earned its place on my kit because it solves a real problem. I start with my favorite tuning and head-change gear: the Evans Pull Cord Key (tiny but insanely fast, and you can’t overtighten), the DrumDial (I still tune by ear, but this keeps lug tension consistent), a magnetic Evans key that stays put, and a drill bit for lightning-speed head swaps—just don’t crank the lugs too hard. Then I move into practical hardware like the DW Dogbone Mount for saving floor space, the Tama Quick Set hi-hat clutch for fast cymbal swaps, and the Tama accessory tray for keeping essentials within reach. From there it’s all about sound control and kick drum essentials: Snareweight and BFSD for quick snare tone changes, lug locks to stop tuning slip, plus a proper kick port hole cutter, hoop protection, an Evans EQ patch, and my favorite pillow—the Sonitus Kicker. I finish with a simple bonus that’s been a lifesaver: an A-frame guitar stand as a compact cymbal storage solution.
