On Saturday, October 22nd, at 10am, the Boneyard Skatepark in Garland, TX officially opened! The ceremony was filled with skatepark enthusiasts of all ages and wheel types (skateboarders, roller skaters, scooters, BMX, etc)! It was awesome to see everyone come together to kick off this grand opening! At 46,000 square feet, the Boneyard is the biggest skatepark in North Texas, as well as one of the biggest in the state (behind the Spring, TX one near Houston). There's something for everyone here from plaza, pipe, bowl and flow! Plus, this being Texas, there's plenty of shady spots and benches to hang out and cool down. Highly recommend this park and can't wait to skate it myself! ------------------------------------------------------- Old School Skater Interviews: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8fA5RbNwrVALOE4koCnVstAgnRiygelZ Geezer Shop: https://geezerskate.co/geezershop/ Geezer Site: https://geezerskate.co Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/geezerskateco/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/GeezerSkateCo/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/geezerskateco Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/c/geezerskateco?sub_confirmation=1

About This Video

In this video I roll out to the grand opening of the Boneyard Skatepark in Garland, TX, which officially kicked off on Saturday, October 22nd at 10am. The ceremony had the whole crew—skateboarders, roller skaters, scooters, BMX—basically every kind of wheel you can think of. I love seeing that kind of turnout because it shows what skating is supposed to be: a community thing, all ages, all styles, everybody stoked. The Boneyard is massive—46,000 square feet—making it the biggest skatepark in North Texas and one of the biggest in the state (only behind the Spring, TX park near Houston). What’s rad is it’s not just big for the sake of being big; there’s a legit mix of terrain: plaza, pipe, bowl, and flow, so you’re not stuck skating the same line all day. And because this is Texas, there are plenty of shady spots and benches to chill, cool down, and actually hang for a while. I highly recommend this park, and I can’t wait to get back out there and skate it myself.
