In this episode I head out west to Fort Worth, Texas to check out the Dickies Skate Plaza—Fort Worth’s newest skatepark, sitting right in the Near Southside district. I’m always looking for parks that mix real street terrain with something you can flow on, and this place nails that combo with a plaza-style layout plus pump track fun. If you’re an old-school skater like me, it’s the kind of park where you can roll around, find lines fast, and keep the session moving without feeling like you’ve got to be in “contest mode” the whole time. I also point you to a couple of must-stops if you make the trip. Dickies Skate Plaza is at 1616 Hemphill St, and while you’re there you should swing by Magnolia Skate Shop (1455 W Magnolia Ave #105). They’ve got a solid selection of hard and soft goods, and an awesome team of riders—exactly the kind of local shop I like supporting when I’m traveling.
