In this one I’m straight-up geeking out over one of my prized pieces of old school skate history: a 1985 T&C Skate Designs Quad Deck. If you grew up around 80s skate culture, you already know why this hits so hard—Town & Country was everywhere, and the whole vibe was loud, colorful, and unmistakably of its time. I never had a T&C deck back then (which still feels like a crime), so getting my hands on this one now is basically me making good on a decades-old missed opportunity. I also talk about why T&C mattered in the 80s—especially the Da Boyz characters created by legendary artist Steve Nazar—and I point you toward where you can see what he’s doing today with the original Thrilla Krew. And yeah, I’m still hunting: this deck isn’t “the end,” it’s the start of me looking for more T&C goodness to add to the collection.
