@EricsTechWorld Eric Jim Croce Kuhns goes back to the Old School! This time, he learns just how awesome the skaters in the 70s were as he rocks a Jay Adams Z-Flex re-issue and tries out pre-ollie tricks! Then it's on the 80s with a Steve Alba Santa Cruz Tiger reissues for some post-ollie greatness! All of which takes place in skateboarding's original park - a ditch! About This Video

In this one I brought my buddy Eric (@EricsTechWorld / Eric J Kuhns) out for a proper “new school meets old school” session. The whole idea was simple: put a modern skater on legit re-issue setups and see what happens when you strip things back to the tricks that existed before the ollie was even a thing. We start in the 70s lane with a Jay Adams Z-Flex re-issue and mess around with pre-ollie fundamentals—because that’s where a lot of style and board control actually comes from. Then we jump into the 80s with a Steve Alba Santa Cruz Tiger re-issue for that post-ollie era flavor. And of course, we’re not doing it in some perfect skatepark—this all goes down in a ditch, which is about as close as you can get to skateboarding’s original “park” vibe. The big takeaway: old school tricks aren’t “easy,” they’re just different, and they’ll expose your balance, timing, and commitment real fast. If you’ve been sleeping on the roots, this is your sign to go back and get some.
