About This Video

In this episode I’m rolling around Jon Comer Memorial Skatepark in Garland, Texas—an absolute monster of a park at 46,000 square feet and the second biggest skatepark in the state. I’m always hunting for parks that aren’t just “one good section,” and this place is the real deal: it’s got enough variety that you can show up with a crew of mixed styles and everybody’s going to find something to skate. You’ve got a proper street plaza setup with rails, banks, ledges, and all the stuff you want for lines, plus multiple transition zones so you can switch gears when your legs start barking. The big highlight is the giant bowl with hips—classic “pick your line and keep carving” kind of skating that I’m always stoked on as an old-school guy. Bottom line: if you’re anywhere near the Dallas/Garland area, this is a park you can legitimately skate all day without getting bored. Address is 1010 W Miller Rd, Garland, TX 75041.
