On any given Saturday morning, this is exactly what I’m doing: meeting up with a crew of “old folks” and putting in laps at the local park. In this video I’m at the Jon Comer Memorial Skatepark in Garland, Texas, and it’s basically a document of one of those perfect sessions—good times, rolling with good friends, and reminding ourselves (and anybody watching) that you don’t quit skating just because you got older. I’m not overcomplicating it here: show up, skate what you’ve got in front of you, and enjoy the community that comes with it. The big takeaway is consistency and connection—Saturday mornings turn into a tradition when you keep coming back, and that’s how you stay rolling for the long haul.
