About This Video
In Day 8 of my Luke Bible Reading, I’m walking through Luke chapter 8, and y’all… this chapter is packed. We read the parable of the sower and I focus on what it looks like to actually receive the Word with a heart that’s ready—because it’s not just about hearing it, it’s about what kind of “soil” I’m bringing to my Bible study time. This is one of those chapters that makes me pause and check my routines, my distractions, and what I’m letting choke out my growth.
Then we get into the miracles: Jesus calming the storm, healing the woman who reached for Him in faith, and raising Jairus’s daughter. What I love about reading it all together is seeing the mix of power and peace—Jesus is never panicking, even when everyone else is. My takeaway is that faith can look like quiet trust in the storm and brave, desperate reaching when I feel like I have nothing left. If you’re in a season where you need reassurance, Luke 8 is such a comforting read.
