In today’s Luke reading, I’m in Luke chapter 22, and this is the one with the Last Supper—so it’s a really weighty, meaningful chapter to sit with. I’m reading through what Jesus shares with the disciples, the way He prepares them, and the way this moment sets the stage for everything that’s coming next. Even if you’ve heard the story a million times, I think Luke 22 hits different when you slow down and read it with intention.
As I go through the chapter, I’m focusing on what I can pull into my own faith and my everyday rhythms—because for me, Bible reading isn’t just “checking a box,” it’s letting the Word shape how I live. Luke 22 is a reminder to stay close to Jesus, to be honest about my weaknesses, and to keep choosing surrender even when it’s uncomfortable. If you’re doing Luke with me, this chapter is a good one to pause, reflect, and pray through before moving on.
