In this video, I’m continuing my Luke Bible reading with Day 3, Luke chapter 3, and the big theme is exactly what the title says: “Prepare the way for the Lord.” This chapter is packed—John the Baptist shows up with a clear message of repentance, and it’s not just emotional hype. It’s a real heart-check that shows up in everyday life: how I treat people, how I handle my choices, and whether my faith is producing actual fruit. As I read through Luke 3, I’m reminded that preparation is spiritual and practical. It’s not just “getting ready” in theory—it’s making space for God to work in me. I also love how this chapter points to Jesus so clearly, including His baptism and the start of His public ministry. My takeaway from this reading is simple: I want my life to look like I’m making room for the Lord, not just saying I am.
