In today’s video I’m on Day 15 of our Luke Bible reading, and we’re in Luke chapter 15—one of those chapters that just lays God’s heart out so clearly. We read through the three parables Jesus tells: the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son. What stood out to me is how intentional the seeking is in every story. The shepherd goes after the one, the woman searches until she finds the coin, and the father is watching and ready to welcome his son back home. My biggest takeaway is that God doesn’t treat “lost” like a label that disqualifies you—He treats it like a reason to pursue you. And I love how the chapter also challenges the older-brother mindset, because it’s so easy to look like you’re doing everything “right” on the outside while your heart is far from compassion. This chapter is such a sweet reminder for my faith and my everyday life: I want to celebrate what Heaven celebrates, and I want my planning, my routines, and my habits to reflect a heart that’s grateful for grace—mine and everyone else’s too.
