In this video I’m showing you how to make your hair curly with a full perm process, start to finish. This is the exact method I use when I’m doing perm transformations: getting the top even, wetting the hair, combing through, and then sectioning properly so the curl pattern comes out clean. I break it down into simple steps—wrapping with end papers, rolling on rods all the way to the roots, and setting everything up so you don’t get messy solution dripping everywhere. I also run through the key safety and timing parts that people mess up: putting vaseline around the hairline, using a cotton strip/kitchen roll band to protect the face, and making sure the perm solution is fully saturated. After processing for an hour, I rinse, then repeat the protection steps and apply the neutraliser for 15 minutes before rinsing again and taking the rods out. Biggest takeaway: don’t wash your hair or get it wet for at least 2 days after—if you want the best results, you’ve got to let the curl set properly.
