About This Video

In this video I’m doing a full haircut & perm transformation from start to finish. It’s that proper change-up—getting the top prepped, sectioned clean, then wrapping every section on the rods the right way so the curl comes out even. I’m showing the exact order I follow: wet the hair, comb through, section it down to about 7.5cm x 0.5cm, use end papers, roll to the roots, and protect the hairline with vaseline so the solution doesn’t irritate. After that, it’s all about saturation and timing. I apply the perm solution properly, cover it up, and leave it for an hour, then rinse and go back in with the neutraliser for 15 minutes to lock everything in. Biggest takeaway: don’t rush the process and don’t skip the aftercare—no water for at least 2 days if you want the best results. If you want this done properly, you can book in with me on my site and grab the products I use there too.
