In this video I’m reviewing Kaine’s newest summer-friendly additions (all under $25) and sharing how I’ve been using them in my routine here in Seoul. Kaine is one of those brands that’s not only super aesthetic, but also vegan and “clean,” and I’ve already reviewed their basic line before—so this felt like the perfect time to test the newer launches that are meant for hot weather, sun exposure, and irritated skin barriers. I start with the Kombu Barrier Ampoule, which is made with 73% fermented kombucha plus panthenol and ceramide. I love that it’s unscented, thin and watery but still concentrated, and it sinks in fast with zero stickiness—perfect when your skin barrier feels stressed in summer. Then I move to the Green Calm Aqua Cream: a lightweight gel-pudding moisturizer that feels super refreshing and helps soothe redness. My only note is that if you’re very dry like me, it can be a bit too light, so I like reapplying in the morning (and putting it in the fridge is chef’s kiss). For SPF, I review the Green Fit Pro Sunscreen, a hybrid formula that’s lightweight, non-greasy, no white cast, and sweat-proof—so it’s great for travel, hiking, and outdoor days. And my favorite: the Glow Melting Lip Balms. They’re a true 2-in-1 lip care + makeup step with vivid color, crazy shine, and a sweet sugar-cookie scent I’m obsessed with.
