About This Video

In this video I recreate a soft glam Korean makeup look that’s perfect for a date night or any special event, but still beginner-friendly. I already had my base done the way I usually do, so I focus on eyes, cheeks, and lips using a basic brown eyeshadow palette plus a soufflé-style color pot for both cheeks and lips. The main idea is building soft dimension step by step: I start with the lightest shade all over the lids, then layer a latte brown for depth, and place a darker brown on the outer third to create that subtle triangle shape. These shadows are buttery soft, quite pigmented, and super easy to blend, which makes the whole look much less intimidating. For the under-eyes, I go for that aegyo-sal style definition by tracing a precise line where the eye socket dips in, then filling the space between that line and the lash line with the base shade. I add a small touch of the darker shade on the outer lower corner, do a simple wing (it really doesn’t need to be perfect), and intensify with a liquid black liner plus tightlining with a dark brown pencil for a smokey effect. Then I move to cheeks and lips with a matte velvety finish (I prefer this here over a glowy one), add a bit of nose shading, slightly overline with a lip crayon, and finish with mascara.
