Key takeaways: Battery Champion: The 6,000mAh silicon-carbon cell delivers genuine 2-3 day battery life for most users. Storage Bottleneck: The use of eMMC 5.1 storage significantly hampers the 120Hz fluidity and app load times. Media Specialist: The massive 6.9-inch display and loud audio make it ideal for video consumption, despite the 720p resolution. On paper, it looks absurd for the price: a 6,000mAh battery, a massive 6.9-inch display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, and a slim 7.99mm design. But when a budget phone looks this good on a spec sheet, something always gives. Inside the box, you get the phone, a USB-C cable, a SIM tool, and a clear case. Depending on your region, the 33W charger may be omitted—a significant cost-cutting move for a budget device. 🔔 LIKE & SUBSCRIBE for more honest, in-depth tech reviews from real users, not scripted demos. 💬 Have a question? About This Video

In this POCO C85 review, I daily drove the phone, gamed on it, watched a ton of content, and lived with HyperOS to see what’s actually going on beyond the spec sheet. On paper it looks ridiculous for the price: a 6,000mAh battery, a massive 6.9-inch LCD with up to 120Hz, and it’s still under 8mm thick. But right from the unboxing you can tell it’s built to a number—functional, stripped back, and yes, no charger in the box even though it supports 33W. That’s not “sustainability,” that’s cost cutting. I break down the big wins and the big compromises. The battery is the reason this phone exists—2 to 3 days is realistic, and even heavy users can push 2 days comfortably. But the eMMC 5.1 storage drags the whole experience down: slower installs, slower app launches, and it makes that 120Hz feel wasted a lot of the time. The 720p resolution on a 6.9-inch panel is also obvious with softer text and weaker detail. I also test gaming, thermals, audio, and cameras. Casual gaming is fine at low settings, but sustained performance isn’t great, and the single mono speaker is placed exactly where your hand sits in landscape—honestly unforgivable. The 50MP camera is okay in daylight, falls apart in low light, and it’s not meaningfully better than other ultra-budget phones. My verdict: it’s a specialist battery-and-media phone, not a balanced all-rounder.
