I go over the basics first: it comes in tan (the one I have) and black, measures 22 x 14.4 x 9.1 inches, and holds about 40L. That lines up with what most major airlines recommend for carry-on sizing, so you shouldn’t run into issues at the gate. From there I walk through the build and hardware, because that’s where luggage either earns your trust or doesn’t. The shell is lightweight polycarbonate (my favorite balance of weight, strength, and easy cleaning), and you’ve got top and side carry handles, a TSA-approved combination lock, and a two-height aluminum trolley handle with a comfortable rubber grip. On the rolling side, Quince uses Japanese-made Hinomoto 360 spinner wheels for smooth, quiet movement, plus YKK zippers down the center. Inside, it’s split into two halves: a large mesh zip compartment on one side and a compression pad with straps and a zip pocket on the other, plus a laundry bag. Overall, I’m genuinely impressed—similar features to the big names, but at a more affordable price point.
