About This Video

A great gym bag has to balance style, durability, and function—and in this video I break down the Cinomadist Swift gym backpack and why it’s one of the more well-thought-out training packs I’ve tested. I’m reviewing the Urban Forest (gray/green) colorway, but it also comes in all black, and honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with either. Size-wise, this isn’t a small backpack: it’s 22L and expands to 29L, which puts it right in that small-weekender territory, so you can realistically use it for travel too. For reference, I’m around 5’8”, and I show how it fits on-body so you can judge the scale. I also go into the build and comfort details—water-repellent 400D nylon, clean-looking YKK reverse zippers, padded straps, sternum strap, breathable mesh back panel, plus a luggage pass-through that makes it more travel-friendly. Storage is where the Swift really flexes: multiple side pockets (including one that fits a full-size shaker), a strap pocket, a padded laptop/tablet compartment, and a hidden security pocket. Up front you get a ventilated shoe compartment, and inside the clamshell main compartment there are mesh pockets, key rings, a removable waterproof pouch for toiletries or sweaty gear, and even an adjustable panel to reclaim shoe space when you don’t need it. My take: it’s worth it for daily gym use—almost to the point where you might have “too many” storage options, which isn’t a bad problem to have.
