About This Video

In this video I’m reviewing the Sandmarc Travel Backpack, and I actually took it with me on my recent trip to Italy to see how it holds up in a real travel scenario. Sandmarc is mostly known for Apple accessories (especially for iPhone photographers), but this bag is marketed as a travel backpack—and honestly, it can easily double as a camera backpack too. I break down the size and carry capacity (25L expandable to 30.5L), the dimensions (20 x 14 x 6 in), and why that matters if you want something that qualifies as a personal item and fits under the seat. I also go through the materials and build: 840D ballistic nylon up top, weather-resistant tarpaulin on the bottom, YKK zippers, and aluminum hardware like the zipper pulls and chest strap buckle. Then I walk through the comfort features (padded back support, cushioned straps and handles, luggage pass-through) and the storage layout—from quick-access front organization to the clamshell main compartment and the dedicated laptop sleeve that fits up to a 16-inch laptop. My takeaway: yes, it’s expensive, but I think the comfort, quality materials, and how well it organizes your gear make it a solid investment if it’s in your budget. I’m just here to share my perspective, and for me, it’s worth it.
