About This Video

In this video I’m sharing my real experience with Ruggable—from ordering and delivery to unboxing and installation. I walk you through the process on the website, the sizing options, and why I went with the Lane Ivory & Natural Tufted Rug in a 6x9 for my living room. I also break down the cover + pad system and what I chose (tufted rug with the standard pad), plus how that combo compares to the flatwoven option in terms of thickness and how “traditional” it feels underfoot. I also talk timelines, because that matters: in my case it shipped 3 days after purchase and showed up 2 days later, so about 5 days total. The rug and pad arrived in one box, folded up, and I was honestly surprised there weren’t a ton of creases—vacuuming helped it flatten out pretty quickly. Installation is simple: lay the pad down, place the rug on top, and the pad grips kind of like velcro to keep it stable (especially nice on hardwood). I haven’t tested the spillproof claim (and hopefully I never have to), but I can say the “pet friendly” part is holding up so far—my dog runs on it and the threads aren’t coming loose like my old rug. I’m still early in, but right now I’d recommend it if you’re on the fence.
