About This Video

In this video I’m reviewing the Away Tech Case (regular size) and breaking down what you need to know if you’re looking for a compact tech organizer for travel. I go over the color options—black, navy, coast (the one I have), and green—plus the option to customize it with three-letter stitching. For size, the regular Tech Case comes in at 6.3 x 4.7 x 2.95 inches, holds 1.4L, and weighs 3.76 oz, so it’s clearly designed for smaller everyday tech essentials rather than bulky gear. I walk through the materials and layout too: it’s made from a smooth, water-resistant nylon with minimal branding (just the Away logo in the corner), a leather handle up top, and a single zipper. Inside, you get three elastic bands on the lid for things like cables and earbuds, plus a main mesh zip compartment that fits bigger items like a power adapter, hard drive, or even a mouse. And even though it’s called a “tech case,” I also talk about using it as a general-purpose organizer—think toiletries, makeup, or even small clothing like socks and underwear. Overall, I think Away nailed the build quality and the clean, minimal look, but if you’re not an Away fan, there are cheaper alternatives—just don’t expect the same materials.
