Hey guys—today I’m doing the Eyeshadow Palette Lovers Tag (created by Angelica) and this video is also a collab with my friend Yori from Personal Beauty Lab. I love stumbling on smaller channels because they’re usually way more unique and creative, and Yori is one of those people I genuinely trust for in-depth, thoughtful reviews. If there’s a new release and I’m on the fence, I’m always crossing my fingers that she reviews it because she covers everything, but still makes it feel like you’re just chatting with your bff. For the tag, I went through 10 questions that seriously made me think—this wasn’t a knee-jerk “top 5 palettes” situation. I talk about the palette I regret not buying (and I’m still thinking about it), the one I regret buying (because the shimmers did not deliver on the eyes), and palettes I’ve used more or less than expected. I also get into my favorite half-neutral/half-colorful palette, the one I bought for packaging (and yes, the vibes matter), and the palettes where the mattes outshine the shimmers—or the other way around. I wrap it up with a palette that happily surprised me and the most interesting “color story,” including one that’s interesting because of the formula choices, not just the shades.
