The question of the day: “Where is everyone?” Today, we are exploring a surprisingly EMPTY Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Even though we visited on a larger ship this time—compared to our previous trip on the Disney Magic—the island felt unusually quiet. Come along and see what we got up to! About This Video

Hey, it’s KJ (Disney Mom Life)! Day 2 on the Disney Destiny was all about Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point… and you guys, my question all day was literally: “Where is everybody?” Even though we were on a bigger ship than the Disney Magic, the island felt weirdly empty. We grabbed breakfast at Marceline Market, navigated the tram situation, had to replace my 2-year-old’s missing hat (of course), and then we hit Sebastian’s Cove, character meets (Goofy with basically no line!), and explored spots like the Play-Play Pavilion and the beach. I also shared a couple of my favorite little food hacks: if you’re a “soft serve in a cup” person like me, grab the cups by the drink machine and ask for a spoon if they’re not out. And my dessert hack on the island? Take two cookies from True True BBQ and make an ice cream cookie sandwich—so good. After heading back to the ship, we skipped the AquaMouse because it was a 45-minute wait, but we did try the blueberry soft serve (incredible). Then we did dinner at Pride Lands (I loved the theming and details), watched Frozen the Musical, and ended the night with Grand Hall photos, a Maleficent sighting, and our towel animal mystery back in the room.
