On Disney cruises, you’re not rolling on your big suitcases—your luggage can take hours to show up (usually somewhere between 1–3 PM), so you need a few essentials to get you through the terminal, lunch, and those first hours on the ship without feeling frazzled. I cover the must-haves like travel documents (passports/IDs, kids’ birth certificates, and your port arrival form) and how I keep everything together in one pouch so we’re not scrambling. If you want to hit the pool right away, I share my swim essentials list—plus the super important reminder: don’t forget the swim diaper for little ones. I also talk through baby/toddler needs (diapers, wipes, formula or pumping supplies, extra outfits), plus a change of clothes for you because… things happen—and the gift shop won’t even be open until we set sail. I also share what I always keep in my carry-on: a portable charger I love, reusable water bottles and prepackaged snacks, any alcohol you’re allowed to bring (it has to be in your carry-on), valuables, meds, cash for tipping, and entertainment for kids for the port and mealtime.
