If you’re headed to EPCOT with someone who loves Disney princesses, I’m sharing my full Akershus Royal Banquet Hall dining review—our first time ever eating here, and we were super excited. It’s right in the Norway Pavilion next to Frozen Ever After, and it’s a cozy, castle-style character meal where you can meet princesses like Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Snow White, and Tiana while you eat. We did this on my daughter’s 5th birthday (after Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique—such a mouthful), so the princess interactions were a huge reason we booked it. I break everything down the way I always do: food, service, atmosphere, and value (rated 1–10). Honestly, Johnny and I weren’t sure about the menu at first, but we were pleasantly surprised—this was some of the best character dining food I’ve had. The meal is served family-style with amazing starters (bread with cinnamon butter, potato salad, cheeses, fresh salad), a main platter (mac and cheese, salmon, meatballs, chicken), and desserts (chocolate mousse dome, rice pudding, apple cake). It is pricey ($69 per adult, $46 for kids 3+), but between the food, the cozy vibe, and the princesses, I still recommend Akershus—especially over Cinderella’s Royal Table.
