Hey guys—this vlog is basically my real-life “3 days off work” reset, and it starts off with me coming home from a closing shift and hearing that dreaded water noise. I thought I was about to have a huge leak again, so I’m in there trying to unscrew what’s supposedly “hand tight” (hand tight my butt). I’m twisting the wrong way, making a mess, getting frustrated, even grabbing pliers… but long story short, I fixed it and the toilet is flushing and filling correctly again. I still need to adjust the water level, but thank goodness it wasn’t as big of a deal as I made it in my head. I also take y’all along for some frugal, everyday stuff—laundry costs, what I wash my wool clothing with, and just being honest about how exhausted I’ve been. The harsh reality of autoimmune issues is constantly feeling tired, and I’m sharing a health update on my hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s and the holistic route I’ve been trying (including Lugol’s iodine drops). Lately I’ve noticed lumps around my neck, so I’m at the point where I need bloodwork and to get checked out—even though insurance is ridiculously expensive and I usually only go when I absolutely have to. I end the vlog with a quick Ulta run for shampoo/conditioner pumps (worth it!) and a little peek at kitchen theme ideas, because life goes on and we keep pushing forward.
