About This Video

Robot vacuums are one of the most common smart home products, but every so often something shows up that actually changes how you think about them. In this video I review the SwitchBot K10+, and it’s genuinely the smallest robot vacuum I’ve ever seen. I’ve been running a Roborock S6 Pure for the last couple years, and while it’s been solid, it’s definitely starting to feel outdated—so I was excited to see what SwitchBot is doing (especially with their upcoming S10, which I think is going to be the real game changer for mopping). I walk through what’s in the box, the SwitchBot app setup, mapping, room schedules, and the settings that actually matter—like Do Not Disturb, dust collection frequency, carpet mode, reduced collision mode, child lock, and even NFC control. In day-to-day use, the K10+ vacuums about as well as my S6 Pure did, but it’s way quieter on standard. The biggest win is the size: it gets under bar stools and into tight spots in my kitchen that other vacuums just can’t reach, and the self-emptying base makes the smaller dustbin basically a non-issue. I also cover the “mopping” setup, which is really a wipe attachment. For me it dried out fast in the kitchen, but it actually makes sense in a small tiled bathroom. Overall, if you need a quiet, compact vacuum that can fit where others can’t—especially at the sale price—I think it’s a go.
