In this video I tested the most “why does this exist” version of an RX 9070 XT I’ve seen so far: the Yeston x GravaStar collab. It’s got that chunky alien-ish aesthetic (which I’ll take over waifu GPUs any day), a massive triple-fan cooler, three 8-pin power connectors (thank you for not using the 12-pin arson connector), and one of the best-looking backplates I’ve seen—thick metal with contour-line vibes. But then it hits you with a $900 price tag and a weird little dangling RGB connector like it’s 2016, which is… a choice. I tore it down to see what the money’s buying, and the cooler is an absolute unit: seven heat pipes, a vapor chamber contact plate, and a huge fin stack. In testing with a 13900KF and 32GB DDR5-6000, the temps were straight-up wild—Cyberpunk sat around 58°C at ~300W with barely any noise, and even the more aggressive BIOS with ~30W extra didn’t faze it. Performance gains from the BIOS weren’t huge, so I undervolted/overclocked properly (because that’s how the 9070 series likes it) and ended up with ~3.3GHz core and a nice bump at 4K ultra in Cyberpunk. Bottom line: it’s a beastly cooler on a very expensive, very extra 9070 XT. If you’re a tech oligarch who wants an alien GPU, congratulations—this is your moment.
