So I tested an RTX 3060 12GB in a bunch of games in 2026 to see if it still holds up, and honestly… it does. Esports is a joke (in a good way), Arc Raiders at 1080p was smooth, Battlefield 6 was playable with a bit of DLSS help, and even Stalker 2 wasn’t a disaster. But the real boss fight here is pricing. The RTX 5050 is generally faster, has newer features (like frame gen, which I still don’t understand), and sits around $250. If Nvidia re-releases a 3060, it needs to undercut that hard—otherwise it’s just another wet slap to the face. I’m thinking around $180 is where it starts making sense.
