In this vlog, I’m basically running on exhaustion and taking you with me through a real day—messy bun, sunny weather, and all. I start the morning heading into a building where I had to go up to the second floor (and I already knew I probably wasn’t allowed to record once I got upstairs). After that, it was time for a nap because I was tired-tired. Then I take you with me to my husband’s radiation appointment. He’s been getting radiation for about a week, and I thought this was his last day. They were targeting the kidney area where he has pain because there’s a tumor around that rib/kidney area, and the goal was to kill it or shrink it. I’m usually there as much as I can be—sometimes up to two hours—and I share little moments like him getting a certificate from Montefiore Medical Center for radiation therapy (which is kind of crazy, like… an award for getting radiation). After that, I head to Stop & Shop to grab ingredients for my green vegetable juice—green apples, green grapes, and just all the green stuff I can find.
