In this video I’m reviewing the YSL Valentine’s Day 2026 collection and putting it to the test to see if it’s just a pretty face—or if the products inside are just as stunning as the packaging. I demo the YSL Sparkling Lust Couture Mini Clutch (Shade 126) and the Candy Glow Tinted Butter Balm (Shade 44B), swatch everything, and then create a soft, romantic eye look that feels very ethereal and perfect for Valentine’s Day. I also compare the YSL quad to other recent luxury releases like the Chanel Rouge Noir Confidence Palette, the Dior 865 Pink Lollipop palette, and pieces from the Chanel Rouge Noir singles and the Guerlain Denim collection. My big takeaway: the YSL quad isn’t the most diverse (the two mattes are a bit too similar), but what you can do with it is genuinely beautiful—and it gave me minimal fallout when I used a lighter hand and did my “tap tap tap.” The lip balm is hydrating with the most pigment out of the three shades I tried, but I’m still not in love with the minty scent—and it contains almond oil, so please avoid if you have a nut allergy.
