Hey beauties—today I’m testing out some seriously fun new luxury makeup. I swatched and reviewed three new shades from the YSL Make Me Blush line: Stardust Love (that “see you from space” blush-topper glow), Fuchsia Fizz (a bold flamingo pink that honestly worked out way better than I expected), and Honeymoon (a terracotta-leaning shade that, on my skin tone, can absolutely read like a blush-bronzer hybrid). These YSL blushes are very pigmented—like, “could outlast your last relationship” pigmented—so I show you how I apply with a light hand, blot on the back of my hand first, and diffuse with my foundation brush when I inevitably overdo it. Then we move on to Lisa Eldridge Liquid Silk Eyeshadows in Paige, Sylvia, Maude (Mod), and Mimi. I swatch everything and wear them as one-and-done shades so you can see the true integrity of the color and finish without primer. My big takeaway: they’re subtle, smooth, and very forgiving—especially if you’re worried about texture on the lids. If I had to pick standouts, Maude and Mimi stole the show, with Sylvia close behind, and Paige being a beautiful “neutralize-the-lid” base if that’s your vibe.
