Are the Rare Beauty Soft Matte Powder Bronzers worth it?

For a first impression, yes—the formula is really beautiful and blurring on the skin. They’re pigmented (it’s Rare Beauty, so I wouldn’t expect anything less), so you have to tap and blot your brush first. I can’t fully speak to longevity yet because this wasn’t a wear test, but the finish is gorgeous.

Which Rare Beauty bronzer shade is better: Sun Blaze or Warmed Up?

On me, Warmed Up was the clear winner. Sun Blaze pulled a little orange and looked patchier at first, but it improved a lot once I switched brushes and buffed it out. If you’re choosing between the two, I personally prefer Warmed Up for a more flattering, easy golden warmth.

Is the Rare Beauty bronzer brush good?

I personally didn’t like it in this video. It’s very malleable with almost no resistance, so the product can travel and get messy fast—especially with a pigmented bronzer. Once I used my Nicola Rose brush instead, the bronzer looked much smoother and easier to control.

They’re very, very similar when you look from a distance. Rare Beauty looks a bit more mattifying and perfecting, while Patrick Ta gets more glow once you add the cream on top. If you skipped the cream step, the finishes would be even closer.

Patrick Ta Thank Me Later vs Rare Beauty Spirited—what’s the difference?

Shade-wise, they’re almost identical head-on. The Patrick Ta side looks glowier because I used the powder first and then tapped the cream on top, which gives that almost highlighter effect. Rare Beauty is more blurred and matte, and it’s just really easy to work with.

Are Anastasia Beverly Hills Glidr Eyeshadow Sticks actually good?

Yes—these were the standout for me. They’re creamy but controlled, they layer really well, and I didn’t get fallout or a cooling sensation on my eyes. Brandy Flame with Hot Sand was so pretty I literally didn’t want to remove it.

Do the ABH Glidr Eyeshadow Sticks compare to Laura Mercier or Danessa Myricks?

To me, they’re kind of a middle ground. They feel more impactful than the Laura Mercier sticks, but not as intensely shimmery as Danessa Myricks. They’re easy, travel-friendly, and still give that luxe, reflective finish.
