Hey beauties—today I finally got my makeup-loving hands on the brand new Hermés Plein Air (I tried, okay?) foundation, and I’m giving you my first impressions plus a mini wear test (about 3 hours). This is a $145 luminous matte, medium buildable foundation, and I wanted us to find out together if it’s actually worth it. I walk you through the packaging, shade info (I bought two shades—7N and 21N—and kept 21N), and all the claims like “second skin,” heat/humidity resistance, and that 82% skincare base with niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. I apply it over my earlier skincare prep (Merit Great Skin and Chanel Hydro Creme), and right away I noticed the fragrance—very floral—so if you’re sensitive, you’ll want to test it in store. On my skin, it went on beautifully with a brush, felt weightless and velvety, didn’t emphasize pores, and actually blurred a bit around my fine lines. After 3 hours with no powder or touch-ups, it still looked luminous in that “lit-from-within” way, and it truly felt like nothing on my face.
