This palette pulls some of the most wearable, neutral-leaning shades from the Lightwork Volume VII Freedom palette (which was one of my top palettes in 2025 and ever), and it’s such a smart way to try the formula without committing to the full, higher price point—especially if you knew the bold blues and special shades weren’t your lifestyle. I swatch all six shades (Guiding Light, Wish, Sand, Toasted, Rooted, Grounded) and then I demo three different looks: a soft everyday neutral, a more bold “party sparkle” moment, and a final look that combines both worlds—neutral, classic, timeless, but with that little inner-corner shimmer that elevates everything. The big takeaway? For only six shades, the versatility is kind of unreal: creamy, airbrushed mattes that don’t emphasize texture, plus shimmers that range from subtle to that thicker, signature Danessa sparkle. If you want a true everyday neutral palette that can also go nighttime, I really think this is a winner—especially if you don’t own Lightwork Volume 7.
